ON-LINE PURCHASE TRANSFERS FROM OTHER SELLERS
We gladly accept transfers of your firearm orders to our store from other sellers. Firearm purchases have $37.19 California DOJ fees (not taxable) plus our $75 handgun/lower receiver or $100 long gun processing fee per firearm (subject to sales tax). If your seller does not collect California sales tax on your order, we will collect the sales tax on all items on your purchase receipt to complete your transaction as required in our state.
If you select a seller that does not list us as one of their FFL dealers, please notify us with their email contact address and we will quickly make the necessary arrangements.
It is your responsibility to prepay for your merchandise and any shipping costs before having your order shipped to us. We need a complete and final itemized copy of your purchase receipt before we can prepare for your transfer.-
It is common to receive notification that your order arrived in our store, but you need to wait for us to contact you after it is received, checked in and prepared for transfer, which is usually a few days after it arrives.
It is also your responsibility to be sure all firearms you purchase are California compliant. If you order non-compliant firearms, you will have to make return arrangements with your seller that will cost you return shipping costs, restocking fees and our handling and double processing costs of $100 minimum.
Please call ahead to confirm that you have everything you need in advance, which includes current government identification (California driver’s license) and a second form of matching address identification (e.g. CA vehicle registration or a hard attached utility bill for your residence) and a current Firearm Safety Certificate. If you do not have a "real" CA ID (bear image in upper right corner with a star), we also require a current US passport or birth certificate.
If you do not begin your firearm DROS transfer within three working days of arrival and our notification, you will be charged a storage fee of $1 per firearm per day with sales tax added.
All completed firearms that are DROS'ed must be picked up in a timely basis. If your thirty day period is completed and not picked up, you will have to perform your DROS background process again and pay all the same fees again plus storage fees of $1.00 per day per firearm.
California requires a minimum ten full 24 hour days waiting period after we process your transfer before you may pick up your firearms.
Please contact us prior to arranging your transfer delivery and if you have any questions.
